The book covers subjects from the flow of time in seasons and days and years, to the measurement of time in clocks and watches. The text is accompanied by photographs, top class, as I've come to expect from books published by DK. They are crisp and bright, full of children of all different ethnicities.

The text is easy to understand, the pictures draw the reader in, and the authors included suggestions for activities and games that children can participate in to further their understanding of the subject.
