I purchased this book at a used book sale several years ago, but just now read it. I liked the format--text is very clean and clear and photos accompany. Most sections are in a 2 page tutorial format (but a few 4 and possibly even 6 page ones show up every now and then). I did learn some new techniques for photo sizing/selection and ways to use embellishments in a new way--and even a few new embellishment ideas to try at some point. The sections on the mini albums (paper bags/tags/envelopes) for me suffered from the 2 page tutorial format. There were not enough pictures for me to figure out how each of the items attached to each other. (i.e. they would show how you attached the first two together but not how you attached item 3 to the first two or item 4 to the first 3--and in most cases it was not intuitive to me--especially with the tags.) I would need to watch videos to replicate these items.

I enjoyed the book but didn't feel there was enough there for me for it to earn a place on my reference shelf. ( )
