This is a well thought out book with mathematical and verbal explanations of what can be a tough-to-understand subject. Written by a life insurance broker, it is a treatise on the argument for investing in a life insurance policy as an investment vehicle vs. using a 401K. The book is certainly biased based on the author's profession. However it is very logical and well written and helps understand the tax ramifications of both 401K and using a universal life policy as a place to put money toward retirement. The main detractor for using universal life are the high management fees (and other requirements related to the value of the policy), which are not adequately addressed, the main shortcoming of the book.
