XIII As for myself I'm neutral, for I steer Between the two extremes--ay, and have met Some honesty in each: I know a peer Blessed with as kind a heart as ever beat;--And truth and talent in the humblest sphere That had done honor to a coronet: O, we are all, all human--brothers--men This granted, back to Rouge et Noir.
