Excellent text covering different aspects of Orthodox christianity. The book is divided into two parts: in the first, entitled 'Doctrine and Tradition', a number of academic authors cover topics ranging from the relationship between scripture and tradition, the question of the trinity of God, up to the relationship between creator and creature. In the second part, entitled 'Contemporary orthodox theology: its formation and character', we are faced with a number of articles tackling historical aspects of the orthodox development, from the Church Fathers to modern times.
