Rinna's brother contacts her to get information from his condo so it does not fall into the wrong hands and to wait for a sign before turning it over. McCall is a fellow agent and a one-night stand from the past. Who can Rinna trust?

I liked Rinna and McCall. Both are strong characters who will do what they must to win in this battle of wills. Rinna will not give up her book signings to be safe. McCall tries to keep her safe but it is hard. He knows she is hiding something but he cannot get her to tell him what it is. It is almost too late when they learn how to trust. The action is exciting as they try to stay ahead of the villain. I like how realistic this relationship is as they learn each other again and learn how to trust while trouble is around them. ( )
