Three months Phil Gater has been bumming through France and Spain, lying low after pulling a petrol station robbery, and his return to England is marked by some old plonker in a white Transit who drives through a puddle and soaks him to the skin. Everybody laughs. Some welcome. So when he spots the Transit in the Railway Hotel car park it's only natural to give the driver some payback, rough him up a bit.
