Ainda não há conversas na Discussão sobre este livro. this is a fun book because kids will start to loose their teeth and they will like this book because they can relate to it easily. ( ) I liked this book for two reason. I appreciated the writing and the language as appropriate for the grade and age group it was written for, specifically K-1. There were a lot of repetition and was easy to compare characters within the story. For example, in pages 3-5, the author repeated the phrase "They both liked to..." in order to show the similarities in hobbies and personality of Arlo and Robby. I think this is a great step for beginning readers to take as they are embarking on their literacy journey. Another reason why I liked the book was because of the illustrations. The illustrations gave the characters personality and innocence, allowing young readers to relate to the characters. Overall, this book is about friendship. This Easy Reader book tells a wonderful story about friendship and about being oneself. Arlo and Robby are best friends. They dress alike, play the same games, and both are missing the same tooth. The two boys must redefine their friendship when Robby looses another tooth but Arlo does not. Each of the boys must define who they are and reconnect with each other in a new way. sem críticas | adicionar uma crítica
Best friends Arlo and Robby are almost identical in what they wear, what they like, and even where they have teeth missing, but when Robby insists on betting on who is going to lose the next tooth their friendship is endangered. Não foram encontradas descrições de bibliotecas. |
