I thought that this was a fun easy read. Being a total dog person and having a doxie mix I loved that she had a doxie as her pet ;-) But, really I thought it was a cute story. I think my only issue is that this woman is in her 30s but really acts like she's in her early 20s. She seems to be a person who can run her own business but then acts like a young girl when it comes to men. I think I can get over it. ( )

Do not usually go in for cozy mysteries as I am hooked on paranormal suspense and thrillers that have romance in them. Something drew me to pick up this book, maybe the word "psychic". I was looking for something lighter as I had just ended a dark fantasy series. This was just what I wanted, but did not realize at the time. Abby is smart, fun, and is really a psychic. She has a bit of a sweet tooth; chocolate is her go to. Have to love a woman who likes chocolate. By the time I had finished the story I was hooked and have every book in the series. ( )

I am so glad that I finally took the time to listen to this audiobook! I liked Abby a lot and I was totally invested in the mystery of the story. I really liked seeing Abby use her gift to help others. I was hooked by this story right away and couldn’t wait to see how things would work out. I found this to be a very entertaining mystery.

Abby works as a psychic and her predictions are eerily accurate. When she shares a few things she has seen with her date, she doesn’t realize that he is a detective. Before she knows it she is in the middle of an investigation. I like the idea of the budding romance with the detective, Dutch, and I thought that the other supporting characters were very well done.

I thought that Elizabeth Michaels did a great job with the narration of this audiobook. I thought that she did a great job of bringing Abby’s character to life. I found her voice to be very pleasant and I had no problem listening to the book for extended periods of time. I do believe that her narration increased my enjoyment of the story.

I would recommend this book to others. I thought that this was a really fun cozy and I really liked the way that Abby’s abilities helped to solve the mystery. I would love to read more of this entertaining story in the future. ( )

You know the saying "don't judge a book by its' cover"? Well, I definitely do. For better or worse, if a cover catches my eye, I want to give it a try.

I was browsing Audible one day when this cover caught my eye along with the title: Abby Cooper, Psychic Eye. Now, lately I've been in a biography/memoir mood for my audiobooks. Especially when they are read by the author. I've tried different fiction works but they simply haven't been keeping my attention lately. Until now.

Elizabeth Michaels did a great job at making Victoria Laurie's first installment of the Psychic Eye Mystery series come alive. She kept my attention throughout the entire book and kept me so entertained that I didn't even switch to Pandora radio during my commute. Not an easy feat lately to be honest.

This book took a new look on psychics/intuitives. I loved the way Abby stayed true to herself and I found her and Dutch to be incredibly amusing. Probably not the way their relationship was intended to come across, but I was amused all the same.

I am definitely interested to see more of the sisterly dynamic between Abby and Kat as well as to see the relationship between Abby and Dutch develop. I'm sure Abby's next adventures will be just as captivating as this one. And I will definitely be continuing this in audiobooks. ( )
