Typical cozy. Took off a half-star because of a big discrepancy in the back story for one of the characters and took off another half-star because of the awkward and unhelpful discussion of abortion. ( )

Many people have “a skeleton in the closet” secrets or scandals they don’t want to share. But, the skeleton in the Henstock sisters’ basement closet was truly a body.
Ada and Lavinia in their 80’s call Mack Realty to find out what the impact of a body in the house will have on the selling of their home.

Mack Realty is owned and run by three very smart women, Charlene, Margo and Kate. While trying to help the Henstock sisters’ they are receiving threatening mail from someone who appears to be a religious nut, and Kate is being stalked by a man in a black van.

A mystery with several stories running concurrently each with their own clues. This is book 3 in the series but this is a series that can be read as a standalone tale and out of order. I read book one and wasn’t necessarily impressed but this book has a good flow and good plot. ( )
