Been a while since I read The 39 Clues, so to get back into it: a refresher course! ( )

The way the authors of this series blend fact with fiction is absolutely astounding to me. I feel compelled to look up every little "fact" stated to see if it's true or simply part of the Cahill canon, but I stop myself because I REFUSE to destroy the temporary suspension of disbelief with this series (at least until I've finished it).

This book is a companion to the books in the 39 clues series. There is a section devoted to each of the 5 branches. In it the reader finds out about the history of the branch, famous agents, and where the branch strongholds are. My favorite parts were finding out more about the branch founders and the short stories that told what some of the characters of the 39 clues series are up to now. This book will likely be enjoyed by fans of the 39 clues series and especially by those who want to know more about the Cahill family. ( )
