The Story:
I’ve never read anything from this author other than the Bromance Books and I was not disappointed with this out of series book. I am sad it seems this series won’t have more books but I’m just holding on for more from Ms Adams in general.… (mais)

First thing I noticed was that one of the narrators also narrated Sarah Adams’ books. This is the first time I have ever recognized a narrator, but I was pleasantly surprised. I think he did a good job.
By now, you (probably) know how much I hate the overly dramatic feminist comments about women always being oppressed (Ali Hazelwood, anyone?). This one had some, but wasn’t as bad as others so it didn’t bother me too much.
I did like the message of the story that relationships take effort and work and it won’t be all rainbows and sunshine. The characters were definitely pig-headed at times but I can see why.
Also, I liked seeing all the guys gather with just the guys. In fiction, you often have much more emphasis on the female characters and their friends (whether they be male of female) so this was a good change.
Overall, I was happy with this book and do plan to read more by the author.
