Aka..Casey's Secrets...The first in a trilogy of short stories about Casey and her Stepdad Max.

Part one: Casey breaks cerfew and finds her stepdad Max angry enough to spank her, which he does. The punishment he intended had the opposite effect. Casey enjoyed herself too much, and unleashed a long dormant BDSM Dom out of her stepfather.

Hot, great writing as usual!

More people need to be reading this series. Ophelias writing is hot, but there is a level of emotional depth and character development that you would not expect to be seeing in what most would assume as "dragon porn".

Don't get me wrong, you can't get through many pages without stumbling into a fan waving, squirming in your seat, dirty sexy romp.

Sure that's what you're looking for when you click on the button to get it on Amazon. Lets be honest here...you want to read about dragons ravishing the maidens. Dont worry, you get that and much more.

You expect to read a flat, generic spank book that offers only one level of writing...much like reading some of the more prolific authors who churn this stuff out predictably in all its form; a mere handjob for your mind..a Big Mack if you will.

These books are not Big Macks.

They are a great, unexpected treat and need shared and talked about. Take them at face value, don't compare them to others with more "substance" Dont pick them apart to get more hidden meanings, delving into the how's and why's of whatever is going on. However, in retrospect there is strong character development and forward momentum.

Read the "Sleeping Dragons" serials first. Then continue to the main action set up for this serial.

Seriously, they are fun, easy on the soul and dont leave you feeling like you just read a "dragon porn" book and need to be embarrassed by it.

Get your groove on with this very explicit but well written book featuring many different pairings of dragons and the humans destined to "wake them up" from their 500 year enforced hibernation.

Read more about the individual books in this omnibus in the previous reviews.

It's definitely worth the money, and I cannot believe how long this series actually runs when all is said and done. Between the sleeping, rising and immortal dragons, plus the other spin-offs, it is a major undertaking to read them all. However, dispite the books being very erotic, there is a great story running through them.

I have read-and re read this book so many times, I can't actually list dates.

Ophelia Bell writes great erotica. Paranormal or otherwise. The characters are more than just props to create sex scenes.

Ophelia and her dragons...

If you haven't read Sleeping Dragons or Rising Dragons (the Omnibus versions), stop reading this and get them from Amazon and get comfortable. Or get the many novellas that make up the individual omnibus from Kindle Unlimited. I've reviewed them before. This book gives us the backstory on the conception of "Rowen" from Rising Dragons.

There was secrecy surrounding the origins of Rowen, we knew she was a "Red" pure-blood dragon, and it comes out that she's "Geva's" sister. However, the circumstances of her conception, birth and how she managed to get through her young life without knowing she's a dragon are all explained in the stories that make up the novella "Red".

I am not going to explain it. If you haven't read the other books, don't bother with this one because it will leave you kind of lost. Not to turn you off of reading this book, but if you got here and are actually questioning whether to read a book by Ophelia Bell, don't start with this one. Start with the Sleeping Dragons. It's the first in the entire dragon universe. Ophelia builds books and timelines that intersect and go back and forth. Reading them according to their publication date will help. If a book is a prequel, it doesn't necessarily mean it needs to be read before the others, it just means that a story that is alluded to or hinted at in the future is given a chance to be told.

Trust me when I say Ophelia knows her way around erotica, she knows her way around BDSM and she sure as $hit knows how to write about dragons. I don't know how she gets the dirty talk and the sex so good. She manages to make each scene so unique and sexy that other authors wish they could reproduce this work...I know, I know, I am gushing....but you guys need to read her books. If you like erotic fantasy romance, dragons who are not shifters- but dragons in human form, every possible combination of sex, super hot dirty talk, a story that keeps you interested long past the first sex scene.....they are Kindle Unlimited...yeah, Im a perv but at least I know where the quality stuff is.

Also, I am going to plug her other books...each one is a great, sexy read.

Ok...I've done my duty by this author who needs more reviews.

I am always on the lookout for books by her.

I have only heard of like three of the contributing authors for this anthology. The rest are new to me. That is the nice aspect about reading an anthology is that you get exposed to so many new authors. I did not realize all of the various types of monsters there. I am a bit of a newbie to the monster romance genre. Other than the typical vampire and werewolf stories; I had not read many others.

Recently, I have read several of author, Elizabeth Austin's stories. So, my love to orcs has grown. Which Ms. Austin's story was one of my favorites in this anthology. The first and second stories in this anthology by Ophelia Bell titled The Satyr's Sin and Myra's Monster by Leslie Chase were other favorites of mine as well.

The other stories were good. I mean they definitely brought the heat to this anthology. However, I found myself not as attached to the characters for the most part in the other stories. Yet, I do still want to check out all of these authors full length monster romance books.

I first encountered Ophelia Bell through her book Dragon's Melody. I've been seeking out and reading her books ever since. I've read almost all of them and when she publishes a new one, I seek it out to read.

I've received several of her books as ARC and received Hot Wings as an ARC not paying attention that it wasn't the next in her Immortal Dragons series. I thoroughly enjoyed Hot Wings and when I had the chance to read Triple Talons, I leapt at it.

Ophelia Bell did not disappoint. The story was as entertaining as all her other books. The men were hot and heroine was strong and able to stand on her own. I like the traveling into another world and feel like the places come to life with the characters. There's always a vivid picture in my head about what is happening, without the need for me to fill in the blanks.

And she doesn't lack for hot and spicy, with a good lot of romance thrown in.
