Giant very angry rabbits have resulted from an experiment in a lab in Australia. The Australian Prime Minister uses the serum to impose a benign tyranny upon an earth really for a good deal of peace. The native Angries, however, are poised to explode in the continent of their creation. Can humanity save itself?

I have to say, this book left me with a rather unfavourable impression of the subject. Roy Thompson (later Lord Thompson of Fleet) seems to have been able to get his start by chiseling and cheating suppliers and employees alike, with rubber cheques flying around all over the place, all while smiling avuncularly. I wonder if Thomson approved of this book; somehow, I can't imagine he did. A rather chilling insight into media acquisitions.

A wonderful story about a wonderful hero of the second world war. Her courage is an inspiration and it is surprising there is so little published about this woman's amazing life.
