This book is a great example for showing children that to trust in friendships. The koalas friend wanted to play and when koalas tree was falling down they help the koala land safe. This book teaches children to try new things, but also have fun with friends. Friendship is what helps many people try new things. This book is great for ages 2-6 years old.

This shows students that they don't have to be like anyone else. They are just fine the way they are, and if people can't accept them for who they are, that's just a part of life.

All the worrysaurus did was worry about what would go wrong. This book shows students what happens when they overthink.

Students can relate to this because sometimes there are students who cannot get along, from watching the two squirrels. The students begin to realize how disruptive this is, and they begin to take into consideration how their teacher may feel when they do it.

This book lets students know that they can do anything as long as they put their mind to it.

Cute. Good Roaring, great Eeeeek and I like the pictures. The message is solid, as well -- if you want things to change, first look and see how you can change -- heh, the book does a better job than I did.

Lovely book about the importance of sharing. The illustrations are beautiful and humorous. The authors prose is easy to read - the rhythm and rhyme flows easily. The book is interactive where you turn it sideways as the squirrels fight over the acorn. The ending is about coming together and sharing a meal with all the creatures they encountered while chasing and fighting over the acorn.

It’s way past bedtime, but Love Monster can’t sleep. He’s done his regular bedtime routine, but he keeps hearing scary sounds that are keeping him from being able to sleep. He can hear something in the yard, then coming into the house, and then coming up the stairs! The Love Monster finally gets the courage to get out a flashlight to see what is causing the noise, only to discover when he faces his fear that there wasn’t anything to be scared of all along.

The build-up might be too scary for some children, but for most children this charming book will be able to help them face their fears, particularly the ones they face in the dark. The adorable monster’s worries are relatable to young children, and the scary something at the end will win the hearts of readers as much as the Love Monster itself does. The bright pages and fun words will help make this book a fun bedtime read for young readers are their parents.

This is a great book that teaches students that trying new things is sometimes the best thing you can do. This Fantasy adventure picture book is about a Koala bear named Kevin that never leaves the tree he calls home. He misses out on all kinds of opportunities because he never leaves his tree, but one day he finally does and has a wonderful adventure full of events that would of never happened if he had just stayed in his old tree. This book is wonderful for teaching kids that they should try new things to find out what is out their for them to discover. The world is full of things to be discovered, but they would never be found if they never stray from what they normally do every day.

This is the story of two squirrels -- Cyril who partied all year and now realizes too late that he hasn't stored up any food for the winter; and Bruce who has been hoarding enough food for 10 squirrels but thinks he needs more somehow. The two collide when they both try to get the last pinecone of the season, and adventure ensures.

This is a humorous book to tackle the idea of sharing and being a good friend. The over-the-top adventures of the squirrels is a nice relief from the dozens and dozens of stories about a child crying because their sibling or friend won't share a toy with them.

The illustrations are lively, have lots of fun details, and really complement the text nicely to help tell the story.

That all being said, this book was talked up a lot by a colleague so I found it a bit of a letdown after having such high expectations for it.½

A small red dinosaur packs for a planned picnic, but when he gets the "news" from a lizard that rain is coming, his worry spirals and threatens to ruin the outing...until the little dino remembers his mom's good advice. Rhyming text.

El lobezno perdido relata la historia de un lobezno que cree que puede hacer todo por sí mismo hasta que un día se pierde y empiezan las aventuras. El libro nos enseña que hay que dejar el orgullo atrás y dejarnos ayudar.
