Frank A. Fetter (1863–1949)

This book is exactly what the title says, economic principles with application to Practical problems. It kinda sounds like The Wealth of Nations since it has so many examples driven from the modern world and from the history. Although, in the beginning of it and later throughout the book less intensely it uses some theoretical concepts taught in the standard economics course at a college. One caveat with this book is that it is a relatively long one, so it is better to finish it all at once rather than spreading it for many days as I did. In some cases, I was just losing the train of thought. In general, I enjoyed the experience a lot and I consider this book one of the best on the topic of economics.… (mais)
