As a quirky bunch of readers this book was an awesome addition. My kids loved Beatrice and her unique perspectives on life and problem solving. I was curious as to how things with the very traditional family would end up but was happy to see there was more acceptance and embracing of the unique thinking style of Beatrice. So overall it was a win for us. Quirky characters, humorous antics, and positive character are huge for us. So we totally recommend this book.

OMG! This book is almost perfect. The reader follows one family though a year in a short rhyming word adventure. The illustrations are lovely and lively while the story is blissfully blimey. In other words, pick up this book. It’s sure to make someone smile.

It can be a stand-alone, but will be much more enjoyable if the first one is read first. I like the positive attitude that Beatrice has, and if you have a student who has a no-nonsense nazi-style teacher, this will be the book where they can see their situation.… (mais)
