Another Lantern series, this one I only read when it was in events. Same as the others Godhead was most of this one then a couple to wrap up the series. Not sure if it ever came back or if the "White Lanterns" became a thing. Sounds kinda racist, totally kidding.

Kyle Rayner was kind of annoying, seemed like this series was more for kids, though this last part was a little dark with him warring against himself.

Access a version of the below that discusses the series in full and includes illustrations on my blog.

I was really not looking forward to the last four issues. Whenever a series comes to an end and a new writer takes over for the last few issues, I think every comics fan knows that whatever you've been reading, it's about to get worse as a couple extra issues are cranked our regardless of quality in order to fill up a trade. In this particular case, I was dreading it even more because I knew writer Justin Jordan only from the execrable Team 7, and the book abandoned all attempt at artistic consistency, with four different artists on four issues.

But... to my surprise... with those last four issues, suddenly the series became really good! Instead of attempts at big Marvel-spanning epics, Jordan gives us four done-in-one tales, each teaming Kid Kaiju up with one of his monster team, allowing us to finally get to know them as characters—not to mention him. Suddenly the book is fun and funny, exactly the kind of thing I would have liked all along. But four issues of it were well worth it (though perhaps not worth reading the previous thirteen). We get colonies of giant bees and Cthuloid menaces worshipped by loser cultists and Transformers expys on the loose in New York City. (One issue is about the Inhumans, but I guess you can't win them all.) I was suddenly able to tell all the monsters apart from one another, and I didn't even mind that Elsa—ostensibly my whole reason for being here—was written out after issue #10. Good stuff, and I wish Justin Jordan had written the series from its beginning.

Volume 2 brings out the details about no-such-agency and what happens to their agents.

After a series of mysterious assassinations take place our protagonists from volume #1 find themselves in the middle of the internal conflict and some very unpleasant will surface. I wont go into details because there would be spoilers.

Interesting story, not that straight-forward like volume #1 and with few twists that would surprise the reader. But again it is solid SF story.

Art again is little bit smudgy for me but in overall it is good.

Recommended to all fans of conspiracy and X-Files lovers.

As many reviewer already said this book is about the organization from the X-FIles. One ran by the Smoking Man.

It all starts with a space ship falling down to Earth and very soon two agents from the no-such-agency, one veteran and one newbie, find themselves in a middle of it, fighting for their very lives and for survival of the Earth.

Wit the above it is obvious that story is standard - one grizzled veteran and one newbie fighting horrors from the deep. This does not mean that story itself is bad. On the contrary, story is pretty well structured and approach our agents take is very much practical. There are no mushy scenes here, what needs to be done will be done. Lives do not get spared.

Art is little bit messy for my liking, some parts are smudgy and it takes a while to figure out what is going on. But overall it is good.

If you like X-Files,. Delta Green or even BPRD like stories give this one a shot. It is short story but I think you will like it.
