Harshly trained in combat by her Pirate King father ( who has sent her on the quest) she must hide not only her fighting skills but also the secret siren part of her that can control men and make them do her bidding. Using her wits and skills she comes up against the handsome first mate Riden who is also very clever. Can thwart Alosa's quest, and will her father punish her if she fails?
Great adventure and characters - a couple of plot twists - vivid swashbuckling detail with the fantasy element of the sirens thrown in ( a la Anakin Skywalker being controlled by the dark side of the Force - can Alosa resist the power the more she uses it)… (mais)
