If this is the book you read that inspires you to change your eating habits and lifestyle, then good. Otherwise, I have mixed feelings about it. Sections of it were certainly informative about the cattle industry, especially the widespread effects of large-scale livestock-raising and ranching on the environment. Other parts read as questionable vegan propaganda to me (and I'm vegan). A substantial portion of the nutrition chapter was spent just bashing the Zone diet, so I was pretty bored by the end. An easy read with some worthwhile information, but there's portions I wish I had just skipped over.… (mais)
