Kristin Makholm

A fine reference and collection of German prints (mostly woodcuts) from 1905-1923. The reproduction is fine, and the reference material for each artist and print is succint and informative. The variety of styles here is astonishing. Figure One on page four ("The Kiss", from 1898) looks much like a Peter Max print from the '60's. The prints are all interesting, and a few quite compelling. A good reference of an art form I like very much.
