of likely interest to Byron fans. difficult to sort out what is fct and what is fiction - written as a novel but supposedly based on bibliographical fact. published in 1969. Dated.

Sometimes you pick up a book that looks like the sort of thing you wouldn't usually read, and it works out wonderfully. This was not one of those times. I found both the writing and the content rather painful.
