Miriam Farid

Miriam Farid was born to parents of two ethnicities making Miriam biracial. Her father Muhammad Farid was a migrant from Pakistan and Mother Patricia Florence a British native with Germanic roots. As a Child, Miriam Farid was abducted and estranged from her biological mother only to be missing thousands of miles away from both parents. Miriam Farid is known to extensively write about her identity crisis and how she was oblivious to her own identity and as to whom her parents were. She recalls living barefooted with strangers as young as three years of age without the love and nurturing of both parents.
