It's decent and definitively worth a read, especially as a freebie on Kindle.
But I exclusively listen to audiobooks and it's 3€ for 2 hours (via wispersync) which is even more expensive than a normal full-price audiobook with an average length of 8 hours.
I am too much of a cheapskate to continue this series at this price point.
It's ok but for sure not good enough to justify such a price.
Don't get baited into paying with blatant cliffhangers every 2 hours like that.
This is like pay-to-play microtransactions in a game which are considered the lowest of the low of exploitative business practices. I think a series like this should be judged by the same standard.… (mais)

This is a good series, with lots of good themes like forgive others and yourself, believe in second chances and that the end not always justifies the means. It is also an example that there are in every group individuals who are good and individuals who are bad.

All that mixed with an interesting world, lovable characters, spectacular magic and a story full of action, darkness, light and intrigue makes for a nice entertaining read. Individually the books are 3 star books, but as a series I am giving it 4 stars.… (mais)
