About the Author

Iain Pears was born in England in 1955. He has worked as an art historian, a TV consultant and a journalist. After several years working for Reuters, he went to Yale University to complete his book on eighteenth-century British art entitled The Discovery of Painting. Stone's Fall por Iain Pears

It is interesting that I admired this book more than I enjoyed it. Everything was perfectly ployyed and masterfully put together, and yet it left me cold. I wonder if anyone else had that reaction?
