Spring 2020 (April);

This was odd, and then interesting, and at the end there was a sense of victory, along with continuation, but this really wasn't for me. But I deeply appreciated the alternative text message & purchase receipts formatting, and everyone loves 'a goodest, good boy.'

Lovely story. You wouldn't think a story of robots (AIs) communicating by text could be heartwarming, but it is - great character development, in sneaky way. And a happy ending.

Such an adorably fun story.

I'm a big sucker for Robots/A.I.s and a friendship between someone grumpy and someone who is a beam of sunshine!

[Fandom for Robots](https://uncannymagazine.com/article/fandom-for-robots/) is a charming humorous story about the only existing sentient robot (bulky out-of-date thing from the 50s) finds anime and fanfiction. Fluffy, funny, but sadly a bit inconsequential.

A fun little story about a niche industry. I really like the protagonists and the slow reveal of Helen's past. The ending is satisfying and well-earned.

This story is excellent and I like it so much! The robot protagonist is funny and sympathetic, the fandom depictions are spot on, and the fictional anime sounds amazing. I would definitely watch this show (which btw has a trans protagonist? awesome!) if it existed. The story reminds me a bit of Murderbot, and a bit of some of the stories in [Robot Uprisings] about lonely semi-obsolete robots.
