This book is great for students at an intermediate level. It showcases the adversity that Wu Chien Shiung went through to overcome the difficult obstacles and goals that were expected of her. Women weren't supposed to go to school, but she proved everyone wrong and worked with some of the best scientists in the world. This book would be a great read-aloud for students to understand adversity and the history behind this amazing story.
