The entry for each animal includes an illustration of its fore and hind tracks, the measurements of the prints, and what the tracks look like when the animal is in motion. It also includes the animal's common and Latin name, a paragraph or two of description, and a note on similar species. This was something that we read while out on a 10 day back country trip. We thought this would be a great book....it was pretty cheesy! since when are polar bears native to Ontario!!! and so many animals didn't make the cut. it was good for a laugh and my daughter attempted to us it a few times. I think it's great for kids!!! she seemed to live it and that's where my three stars come from
