Entitlement: The Paradoxes of Property por Professor Joseph William Singer
Singer argues that theories of exclusive rights to property often leads to paradoxical results if they're applied indiscriminately to the real world. His alternative is a "bundle" of rights where several person can hold various claims on any given property. The book is a nice mix of practical examples and philosophical theory and it doesn't require much prior knowledge about either law or philosophy. The conclusions are perhaps a bit vague in the end, but I still enjoyed this book a lot and I recommend it as an introductory work to the philosophy of private property.… (mais)
