This is a good resource for introducing children to world holidays. Each holiday has a two-page spread with colorful drawings, photos, a description, a craft, and a glossary of a few key words in the original language. Holidays covered include: Xin Nian, Dangpai Losar, Carnaval, Fastelavn, Purim, Hanami, Holi, Eid al-Fitr, Fourth of July, La Fete Nationale, Halloween, Dia de los Muertos, Guy Fawkes Day, and Lanternfest.
This book is appropriate for Kindergarten - 2nd grade. This book is about how children can meditate and calm down if they are having anxiety. I think this is an important book to use during any reading time and to have in the classroom library because it's good for children to have resources to help them relax.
