Eleanor Sullivan (1) (1929–1991)

Just recently came across this book of 30 short mystery stories written in the 60's. These stories were first published in the Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine .A few of them did seem familiar but overall a fun book to read !

A reasonably good collection of short stories, although I'd probably classify them more as suspense, mystery or noir rather than horror, but maybe the classification has something to do with the era they were written and/or printed. Many have good, unexpected twists at the end.

I must admit... I was hoping for more scary stories but the stories were more like The Twilight Zone. A lot of murder mysteries in this book. All in all I enjoyed the long read of the short stories. I did a short explanation and review on all of them:

Some of the stories & styles are a little dated, but all around, this is a good collection of short stories. I had forgotten how much I love this art form. Reading this book rejuvenated my interest in these delicious savory bites of fiction.
