The Penguin Encyclopedia of Horror and the… por Jack Sullivan
There are warnings online about the trustworthiness of the information contained in this book, with a particular reference to the bibliographical information (non-existent books etc.). The production/packaging company (NOT Viking Penguin, evidently) rather than the editor and contributors appear to be the ones at fault. This is something of an issue for a reference book, of course. It is also, now, almost 1/3rd of a century out of date. Nevertheless it is a handsome and well-illustrated book, wide-ranging (encompassing poetry, music, architecture, etc. as well as fiction and cinema/TV. But it's chiefly valuable for about 50 stand alone essay-length thematic entries.… (mais)
