Sobre mimI'm a frequent contributor to Playboy Magazine, an editor and writer at The Believer Magazine, and the Web editor for Monkeybicycle. I'm also a fairly prolific freelance journalist. I've written for magazines like Harpers, Esquire, Spy, Might, Salon, and dozens of others.

I've written four humor books, one of which is available in German and features a cat on the cover for no apparent reason. My latest book is "Fast Forward," a memoir of my brief career as an adult film screenwriter (published by Future Tense and Manic D Press).

Sobre a minha bibliotecaOh man, where to begin? I think that everything written by Kurt Vonnegut is literary gold, but I have a soft spot for "Breakfast Of Champions" and "God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater." I'm a rabid fan of David Sedaris, particularly the story "Six to Eight Black Men," which, if it doesn't make you crap your pants with laughter, is definitive proof that you have no soul.

Noticed you liked Fight Club, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also about a disturbed bunch of kids and a bit dark :) I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:

Eric,

I laughed so hard, I nearly wet myself. Several times. I couldn't put your book down, it was so funny! Pure, unADULTerated genius! I should be thanking you for giving me such a wonderful experience!

In other words: it was, truly, no problem a'tall.

Cheers,
Stephanie (mortaine)
Pssh. It's not missing from my library. Is it missing from yours?!?!?
