Thank you for Harris correction - and apologies! Really should pay more attention! I'll correct it when I have a minute.
Thanks again, Emma
Hi,

Was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Saw you liked Butcher Boy, and I thought you might like my novel since it's also about a disturbed adolescent and a bit dark. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like. Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:

Thanks,

Sorry. Someone beat you to "A short History of Tractors".

Beth
Hi Jagmuse,

If Bloodsucking fiends is still available, would you be willing to send to the UK?

Cheers
Hey- you're reading Dragonfly in Amber too! I'm about 150 pages in, about to go and hide for half an hour and read a bit more...

How do you get the book covers to show up for what you're reading? Very cool.
I would like to have March if it is still available?
No worries!! I just mooched that one (and of course have yet to read it) - am sure someone else will want it.
Hi Jagmuse,
Would you mind sending a Thousand Splendid Suns to me in New Zealand? It's so cool to see you listing it AND being ok about international posting!
Cheers

Yes, I would like "adjunct: an undigest" if you can e-mail me at itw805@aol.com and I'll respond with my mailing address. Thanks.
Jagmuse,

I was about to add a book to my BookMooch wishlist (The Mirror by Marlys Millhiser) and I recognized your name on the list of others with it on their wishlist. I've held off wishlisting it for now as my feelings of delight and abundance at the number of unread books in my house is morphing into a sense of obligation to get them read.

You have a lot of interesting books in your library - I like David Mitchell enormously, but have only liked "A Walk in the Woods" by Bill Bryson - his others haven't done anything for me.

If you like Douglas Adams, have you tried Jasper Fforde?
Holy snap!!! Can you believe I forgot about it??? I'll finish it up and send it right away (I was in a move and actually managed to stall out a bookring, too). I haven't even been on this site in weeks! I am so, so sorry.
Thanks to you for bringing the ecolibris issue to my attention! I am definitely going to email John with a summary of my comments and point him to that discussion thread. Bookmooch is a very trusted "brand" now, so I think he needs to tread carefully when selecting worthy "causes" for us to contribute to. Thanks!
No problem! I figure if I read 5 pages a day, I'll be done is just over 2 weeks. Small doses are the key, here! :)
jagmuse:

Thanks so much for my SantaThing books! The books look great and I can't wait to dive into them.

Happy Holidays,
ProdigalReader
LOL, we should each raise a Pan-Galactic Gargle Blaster and say, 'Here's to Douglas Adams!' ;)
Greetings to another person who has listed Douglas Adams as a favorite author. "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" rocks! :)
Thanks for the 'interesting library' compliment, Jagmuse. I get a big kick out of other people's tags. Will enjoy looking at your readings.
it is, it is! Last time was down there all fiction except classics and horror was a £1($2) a book
well if you are in the Bristol area drop me a line and I can take you and your folks this 2nd hand book warehouse. http://www.bookbarn.co.uk/ The picture you see is one floor of two floors of one of the warehouses!
hi, hooking up with bookmooch members

Happy June.. Good thing it finally rained huh.

We share many books in common, some of these my favorites: Ishiguro,Mitchell, Bulgakov, de Bernieres, Perez-Reverte, Gunn as well as the classics. Have you read Ghosh's The Shadow Lines. It is so-o much better than In An Antique Land. One of my all time favorites. I highly recommend it. Also if you like Scottish fiction, read Lewis Grassic Gibbon's A Scot's Quair: Sunset Song, Cloud Howe, and Grey Granite (a trilogy).

Here's to great books and wonderful reading,
Tyler (aka flashflood42)
