I been looking for this book for forever. The girl is in a gang of train robbers that are made up of her family. Her father is the leader. She dresses like boy. As they rob a train the Shefiff captures her and brings her to jail. Eventually he realizes he has a girl not a boy in his cell and that he cannot hang her for the crime. So her brings her home to be guarded. They end up sleeping together. he feels guilty so he wants to get married to make things right but she refuses. So he brings her to the court with a gun pointed at her in a way so the judge cant see it and forces her to marry him. They start falling in love and I think she becomes pregnet. So when her family comes to rescue her she refuses to go. one of her brothers gets caught and the town wants him fo pay for his crimes. So now she IS torn between the family she loves and her new family and new love with her husband.

I also believe somewhere in the story the go to church andeventually wins their heart over despite her crimes. and also Befriends a whore or something as ask them why they could forgive her but not that girl.

Hmm, interesting premise. Do you have a rough yeardate for when you might have read this? (That can help to narrow the search.)
