But although order of reading might remind someone of Memento, quality of stories ensured that order of reads is not limiting factor and as a matter of fact increased the quality of material (at least for me) because I was finally starting to link events and people.
Only thing is that book contains almost all of the initial BPRD stories I read elsewhere (like Hollow Earth and saving Liz from the Fear King) but after that I stepped into stories I did not read before - Abe looking for clues about himself and rise of the Frogs.
Highly recommended to all fans of fantasy, esoteric, arcane and especially Hellboy's universe. (
