I liked this story because it could be used for a discussion on how some families look different. I also think it would be good to talk about assumptions because of previous stories they have heard about foxes and hens. It is also great female empowerment!

The Fox and Hen Together is a great wordless picture book. Obviously the illustrations tell the entire story, but it doesn't take anything away from comprehending the story. There is literally no blank space on any page in the book. One thing I did not like about this book was it's length. Even though there weren't any words, I felt as though the story ended almost immediately after it started. I think it could have benefited from a few extra pages. This story teaches kids that enemies can become friends. ( )

This is a delightful wordless book. The illustrations that tell the story are fantastic, as is the hardcover and binding. My only quandry is what do they call their child; a ficken, a chickox? My absolutely favourite page is the last one, roast sea monster anyone? Very well done, sure to be loved by many. ( )
