Got a little confused as I thought this book was about Abe and Janie but seems we also got the love story of Renner and Tierney here too.

Good characters with flaws, regrets, and lots of love to give. Took me a while to read though because I had to go from one couple to the other and sometimes my mind would wander and I would have to re-read a page or two. ( )

Another great book in the Blacktop Cowboys series. I cannot wait for Kyle's story - the teaser in the back of this book is beyond cruel : ) ( )

I LOVE the Blacktop Cowboys Series, but I was a tad disappointed in this one. I was interested in Abe's story since first meeting him in Corralled and I was disappointed when I realized that this book was not only for Abe and Janie but also for Renner and Tierney. I loved all for characters and I felt that each couple deserved their own books. I feel like I didn't get enough of Abe and Jane because the book really focused more on Renner and Tierney, there would be several pages of what was going on between Renner and Tierney then a sprinkle of Abe and Janie and then back to Renner and Tierney. Other than the fact that there wasn't enough (and let's face it, there is never enough of the story when Lorelei writes, I always want more when I am finsihed with her books) this was a great story and as always, I love the characters she writes (especially the secondary characters in the town, specifically the Mud Lillies, lol). ( )
