This book introduces aspects of the sun to young readers. It uses describing sentences and comparisons for children to recieve a general grasp of what the sun is like.

For the level reader, this book does a good job explaing the sun, moon, wind, and tides. Hte illustrations are lovely and the text is, for tyhe most past, in three consistent places on each page spread. The book tells the story in a rhyme that is easy to follow and the vocabulary is managable for an emergent reader. I think I would use it for various science topics. ( )
