Brain candy fluff for clearing my head. Easy to read. Not a lot of commitment required. ( )

I really dislike plots that feature secrets and/or lying, but I really love it when the hero thinks he wants the heroine to change...until she does. This novel features both. Though it wasn't my favorite read ever, I did enjoy it.

The marriage for a merger storyline was a little hard to take. I think because it made her seem so helpless when she was anything but. A woman, especially in this day and age, doesn't need a man to take care of her. I was able to suspend disbelief enough to enjoy it, however.

This is a very emotionally compelling story. I think because Banks did such a good job of showing us the before and after effect the hero has on the heroine. It made her transformation that much more heartbreaking. ( )

This particular book has been introduced and story line explained it the two previous books in the series. It unfolded exactly as expected. Character development did not add or subtract from the book. ( )

A fine story on it's own but it suffers when compared to the first two books of the series. And I had such a problem with the conflict of this story that it was hard for me to get into this book. In the first two books, the heros' actions were so bad--on paper--that they were a bit over-the-top (in a good way) and it was easier for me to forgive them. But in Tempted by Her Innocent Kiss, the conflict felt way too real. Because I got to read things from his POV, I knew he deeply regretted it, but I couldn't accept that the Ashley forgiving him. He essentially told her that he disliked everything about her...how do you get past that? ( )

Wow...the author pulls you into this book right from chapter one! Most of the time it takes a few chapters to get into the storyline, but not here!

The romance begins immediately between Ashley and Devon...but he has another agenda, after all he is a business man and wants to get ahead in the business world. He makes a deal with Ashley's father. She finds out after the wedding. What will happen to this newly married couple?
