I stuck with it and I guess I was just being stubborn because the book only got worse. Poor writing, poor dialog, boring characters....I'd never read this author and I won't be reading anymore by her. ( ) Hired to investigate the legendary wreck of the freighter Jerry McGuen, which sank in 1898 while carrying the ill-gotten sarcophagus of an Egyptian sorcerer, to save a documentary in progress, paranormal investigator Katya Sokolov and forensics guru Will Chan are plunged into new depths of terror. Light, entertaining paranormal romance When the remains of a cursed ship with a sarcophagus of a famous Egyptian sorcerer is discovered along with loads of treasure, people start dying. Is the curse at work or are the deaths coincidental? Paranormal investigators Katya Sokolov and Will Chan join the investigation to determine if the deaths were from natural causes, supernatural causes, or perhaps something far more sinister. Overall the novel was an enjoyable murder mystery, but I did find it very predictable. This is my first Heather Graham novel, so perhaps if I had read others in this series it might have helped.
