This was my favorite graphic novel that i picked to read for my 50 books. I would highly recommend this book to other teachers for their students. I will for sure purchase this book before I become a teacher. I liked the several pictures on the pages as well as it being only 31 pages to read and look at. This book is sweet and short all in one. As i was reading the book i noticed that i was very engaged myself in the book on what was going to happen next. Very good book! ( )

Not a bad little book, written in the style of comic books. I found it a little disjointed in the beginning. The story was about two mice getting ready for bed, the older brother was rather obnoxious. It would make a good book for individual use, however, probably would be a little too long for story time or reading aloud. ( )

This is a graphic novel about Penny and Benny at bedtime, Benny is restless and out of control and can't seem to settle down for the night. Benny decides that he can't sleep without his pirate hat and has to find it. Penny figures that she has to help her brother and they set off on a night time adventure to find the pirate hat. The panels and text are easy to read and would be a good graphic novel for young readers to have if they are interested in these sorts of genres. I didn't particularly like this book as the restless Benny was a little annoying, but I don't know if youngsters would feel the same way. ( )
