Unfortunately, I was kinda bored. Being forced to know how things will turn out is somewhat easier when it's a romance. Still annoying, but vaguely livable. When it's a . . um . . non-romance, knowing how everything will turn out takes out all the tension. So you are left with really long boring passages which would have been useful as tension builders, but . . . Galli seems to like letting the reader know how the next book will end in the previous book.

Olivia's passages were okay. Even interesting. But then I started skimming. Then I started skimming M's because they were so wrapped up stuff I didn't particularly care about.

I think the best scenes were the couple of times Jessie turned up. Which was, I believe, like twice. ( )
