Full review will be on The Book Disciple I don't usually find myself picking up books where the h/H already have kids. It's not that I have anything against it, it's just the way it's happened. I am so glad I did. I loved Dev and Jacob and their Halloween costume's. Planning a month in advance and making Dev a green bean. The cover has him as a white guy but I didn't look at the cover once it was on my kindle and for some reason, I kept picturing him as a big bald black guy. I thought this "Bourbon Street Boys" series was awesome! I am not quite sure how the average rating is in the upper 3's. Elle Casey has done a phenomenal job creating these characters, the plots and the tension, lust, desire, sex, love, family ties, suspense....and so much more. I loved how each book took on the viewpoint and life of another character. First, in Wrong Number, Right Guy it was through May. Right off the bat I loved her. In the second book, Wrong Place, Right Time, it was Jenny's turn. I was even surprised at myself how much I ended loving the second book. Then, in the third, Wrong Question, Right Answer it was Toni's turn. I originally didn't think I would love this book as much, but the author did an impeccable job creating Toni in a new light and yes...I ended up devoted to her character as well. I would highly recommend this series. This was the first series from Elle Casey that I read and happened to come across her books by chance. Now, I have already read several more as she turned out to be one of my hidden favorites. Her books are hidden gems! Read them, you'll see what I am talking about. sem críticas | adicionar uma crítica

Jenny's single-parent life revolves around her kids and her job, which means that hours of Animal Planet and strings of computer code are about all she has time for. Not that Jenny's looking for adventure or romance--she's the type of woman who believes in playing it safe. When Jenny is called upon to do some consulting for the Bourbon Street Boys--a New Orleans private security firm--she knows she should stay away. They conduct surveillance on known criminals and put themselves in harm's way pretty much every day, so No is the obvious answer...Problem is, there's a guy on the team with a body to die for and a dimple that just won't quit luring Jenny in, tempting her to throw all caution to the wind. Will Jenny take the risk or will she do what she's always done--play it safe and wait for the right time? Não foram encontradas descrições de bibliotecas. |

Effettive quattro stelle e mezzo. ( )
