TWICE LOVED. This was a truly hearbreaking story, with no winners or villains. Rye returns home after five years at sea, to his wife and discovers she had thought him dead and has married his best friend. Rye also discovers that he is a father to a son who does not know him. Atmospheric and beautifully written the emotions of Rye, Laura, Dan and young Josh are laid bare and it was easy to identify with their thoughts and feelings. A story which was well worth reading.
SPRING FANCY. Not much happens in this two hander of a couple who meet at a wedding and are instantly attracted to each other, despite the fact that she is engaged to someone who is totally unsuitable, and he has decided that she is the one for him.
