Though it loses more and more impact the more of the tie-ins I read... everything big that happened just gets magically fixed at the end which is really lame. ( ) As with a lot of superhero event miniseries, "Fear Itself" has a great set up that gradually morphs into a more by-the-numbers fistights and explisions style resolution. That said, it still has a better ending than most, with some actual stakes and costs. Odin in particular has a very good arc in this story, and the ending reflects that. I really enjoyed this book, and am glad I picked it up. For such a heavily-pushed cross-over event with allegedly major ramifications, this was rather meh. Interesting in its concepts and potential, but predictably and flatly executed. Also, reading it more than a year later than its initial release shows me how little (if any) lasting impact this "Event" had on the Marvel Universe (even if that's to be expected). Thus, glad it was a library read; not a bad read, but not nearly as major as Marvel would have me believe by its PR, its pushing this in hardcover, etc. sem críticas | adicionar uma crítica
