impressive, the message simple and ringing.

Christian Robinson's illustration style might not be everyone's cup of tea. Full disclosure, it wasn't always mine. It was at YALSA last November (back when we could travel for conferences. Remember those days?) and hearing him speak that gave me a greater appreciation for Christian.

This book is SO timely. It is a beautiful reminder that ALL matter. All races and creeds and sizes. Every few pages of illustrations tell a new story, which is something fun for children to pay attention for. It also is a reminder that every different person tells a different story.....and we would be lost without one or the other. ( )

This book talks about how each individual is different how we all matter. I think this book would be a great read aloud book for class to help all kids feel like they matter, because not all kids grow up in a healthy environment. This book is targeted towards primary grade students. ( )

This book is for elementary/Intermediate age. This book talks about how each of us as human beings are different but we all matter. It mentions that you can be near or far, big or small, first or last but everyone matters. You matter. This book would be good for a read aloud to discuss that every student matters. ( )
