One reason why I love this book is because of the character development. Reesa starts out completely accepting of the fact that she will never overcome her phobia of public speaking. It's only when she realizes how important it is for her to represent her school does she decide to make a change. By the end of the book, Reesa is a completely different person. This isn't limited to her public speaking phobia. She also creates an entirely different dynamic with her older sister, Robby. The character development of both Reesa and Robby is spectacular. Another reason I enjoyed this book was the message. This book can be used in a couple different ways for students. If there is a student who is struggling with public speaking, this book would be excellent for them to read. If a student is scared to start making a big change in their life, this book is perfect for them too. Reesa made a HUGE change in her life by seeing the psychologist. This book can help motivate students to make positive changes for themselves, and it can help with the self realization that they can do anything they put their mind to (within reason). The main idea of this book is that you can overcome your fears, and you can take control of your life. sem críticas | adicionar uma crítica
Reesa's delight in winning the junior high school essay contest vanishes as soon as she learns she is expected to read her essay to an audience of 500 people. Não foram encontradas descrições de bibliotecas. |
