A young girl named Anna experiences life in the great outdoors to the fullest! She enjoys the beauty of the fields and the brightly colored flowers. Along the way she even encounters a few friendly animals! The author's use of repetition and rhyme help the story flow in a very pleasant manner.

Personelly, I am a fan of the book because the young girl has a zest for life and adventure that is very refreshing. The author's use of colors and vibrancy help one appreciate the beauty of the great outdoors in ways previously unnoticed.

This book would be a great extension to a unit on flowers. It could also be furthered used along side a spring time craft that entailed constructing a sunflower.
