But what I thought was especially good about his book is that he covers creating a basic video and then specifically how to create a number of videos that every library could produce, such as director and author interviews, a tour of the library and its services, making an online video annual report, marketing videos for your library, and more.
And he provides not only many ready-made ideas, but also how to come up with your own ideas, which is probably the hardest part of making a good video. In fact, I think that the big value-add for the book is the "pre-packaged" videos he steps you through creating and that he has great lists of ideas and ways to become more creative on your own. He also covers "imagineering" such as animation, claymation, puppetry, green screens and lots of other creative ideas to add to your videos.
I personally would give this 5 stars (of course!) but gave it 4 to hopefully take into account that I'm reviewing something by my husband. ( )
